Keep your machine running optimally and hygienically!

This quick, easy tutorial shows you exactly how to safely clean and sterilize all the components. We highly recommend performing this full cleaning process on a weekly basis.
Your Weekly Cleaning Routine:
First, we need to take everything apart. Carefully remove all components from the machine. As you take them out, place them in a safe, designated location. You don't want to lose any small parts during the cleaning process!

Before we start scrubbing, remember two golden rules: Never use abrasive cleaners or boiling water. All your components are either dishwasher safe, or can be washed by hand using our method. To prepare our solution, simply mix warm water with a sterilising solution in a clean bowl.

Now it's time to clean. Place all your small components into the bowl to soak. For the larger pieces, use a soft cloth or sponge and carefully wash every surface with the warm, sterilising solution.

Don't forget the tricky spots! For hard-to-reach areas, like the handle shaft, we suggest using a pipe cleaner to remove any built-up syrup or residue that a sponge can't reach. This step is key to preventing sticky jams.

Once everything is clean, it's time to dry. You can either dry all components thoroughly with a clean cloth, or simply allow them to air dry completely until they are bone-dry. Do not reassemble while wet! When everything is fully dry, carefully assemble the components back onto the machine.

And that's it! Your machine is clean and ready to go for the week. If you need a refresher on how to put it all back together, be sure to check out our Assembly Video
