Whether you're starting your weekly deep clean or you need to troubleshoot an error, you must safely disassemble your machine first. Follow these steps to completely take your unit apart
Start by removing the lid from the bowl. Next, carefully detatch the bowl from the base by pulling gently upwards. You'll feel the feet release as the bowl comes free. Once the bowl is off, reach inside and pull out the spiral blade and the suction cap gasket.
Next, move to the back of the machine and remove the bowl gasket from the back of the evaporator tube.
Now, we turn our attention to the handle. Place the bowl upright so the handle is facing directly upwards. This is important to prevent small parts from falling out."
First, remove the pin from the handle. Now, gently remove the handle itself. With the handle detached, the last two components, the piston plunger and the spring, will be easily removed.
We have two seals left to remove:
* On the inside of the bowl, remove the sealing ring.
* On the inside of the spiral blade, remove the spiral beater seal
You have now removed all the components needed for cleaning or maintenance. Make sure to place each piece in a safe place once it's removed."
