Welcome to your essential guide for keeping your fizzy slush machine in perfect working order. We'll show you five quick checks, how to use the defrost function, and the simple maintenance steps that save you time and money
The 5-Point Troubleshooting Check
If your machine isn't running right, quickly inspect these five points—this can often fix the issue without needing a service call.
First, open the lid and confirm the Bag-in-Box (BIB) Syrup is correctly connected to its tube.
Second, check your gas tanks. Make sure they are turned open, correctly connected, and, most importantly, not empty. If a tank is empty, simply twist the connector off the old one and securely attach it to the new one.
Third, ensure your water supply is switched on and flowing into the machine.
Fourth, check that the power cord is plugged in and the main machine switch is on.
And finally, look around the machine. Do not put anything on top of the machine, and make sure it has enough space on all sides for continuous airflow, it needs to breathe!
2. Using the Defrost Function
Knowing how to defrost the barrels is key to maintaining product quality. To do this, simply select the barrel on the screen display, then scroll down the menu until you find 'Defrost'.
You'll know the machine is defrosting because the lights on the front will go off. During this time, you cannot serve the slush. Once the machine is ready to serve again, the display will read 'Ready,' and the lights will come back on.
3. Cleaning the Air Filter
The filter is vital for the life of your machine, and it needs routine care. Every three months, you need to remove and clean it.
Take the filter out and place it into a sink. Rinse it thoroughly under warm water. Now, this is crucial: Let the filter air dry completely before putting it back into the machine. Placing a wet filter back in can cause electrical damage. Once it's completely dry, secure it back into place.
By following these simple checks and maintenance steps, your fizzy slush machine will be reliable and ready to go. If you check all these points and still require help, please get in touch with our service team.
