Ready to switch up your menu? Changing a flavor on your fizzy slush machine is a straightforward process, but it requires a few key steps to ensure you don't contaminate the new flavor. Follow this complete guide!
1. Initiating the Flavor Change
First, lift the front panel of your machine. On the display screen, select the barrel you want to change, and scroll down to the 'Flavour Change' option. The system will ask you to confirm the current state of your slush.
2. Changing the Bag-in-Box (BIB)
It's time to change your Bag-in-Box. Do not press NEXT on the screen until this stage is complete!
Carefully remove the old BIB and place it upright to prevent any spillage. Unscrew the feeding tube and place it gently to one side. You can now dispose of the empty BIB.
Now, grab your new BIB flavor. Following the instructions on the box, place your new BIB upright and screw the feeding tube back on securely. Return the new BIB into position under the machine.
3. Flushing the System
Once the BIB is secured, you can now press NEXT on your display screen. The machine may prompt you on how to empty the remaining slush. Ensure you have a large bucket ready to collect the old syrup.
Place the bucket under the tap and press the handle down to release the syrup. You must continue to flush the system until the correct color of the new syrup is seen clearly in the barrel.
Once the color is consistent, press NEXT on the screen to confirm.
4. Refilling the Barrel
The display will now guide you through the refill process. You need a cup or bucket ready for this step.
Place the cup under the vent, and pull the ring towards you until the barrel is filled precisely to the fill line shown on the display screen.
If the vent is leaking afterward, make sure to twist the ring firmly into the correct position to stop the drip.
5. Freezing and Final Check
You can now press NEXT on your screen to begin the freezing process.
The freezing process will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Remember, for a carbonated machine, you must make sure the lights are OUT before serving—this indicates the slush is fully carbonated and ready to be dispensed.
ou've successfully changed your flavor! Your machine is now freezing and will be ready to serve your customers a delicious new fizzy slush.
